Students Demand Action is working toward a future free from gun violence. Your voice and energy can help us get there.
Gun violence is the leading cause of death for children and teens in the United States. We shouldn’t have to worry about getting shot while grocery shopping, working, jogging, sitting in class, worshipping, watching a movie, walking to school, or sleeping. Yet every day in the U.S., 125 people are killed with guns and more than 200 others are shot and wounded.
We refuse to let this remain our reality. We deserve better.
That’s why over 900 groups of young people and counting are demanding action to make a future without gun violence a reality. When you join Students Demand Action, you gain experience:

At Students Demand Action, students aren’t “the future” of advocacy—we are the movement-builders of today. Our volunteers are based in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Our students represent small towns, big cities, and everything in between.
